YGG Cup

The Cup is YGG’s annual elite girls hockey tournament. We bring together high caliber girls and coaches to train, to develop, and most importantly, to create life-long experiences during a very challenging time. This invite-only event includes 100% YGG-funded tournament fees. Our first YGG Cup, was held in Las Vegas, July 2020, during Covid rink closures across the country. For many girls, this was a rare chance to continue playing games at an elite level. The second YGG Cup was bigger and better in Austin Tx in May 2021 with very competitive spring teams for 07’-09’ birth years. YGG was joined by Vision 44 who provided three top talent women professional hockey players, to provide mentorship to the attending elite players and they also ran a fun NHL-style skills competition. Elite Lady Patriots

The ELP program brings together approximately 40 elite female athletes each summer from multiple hockey clubs west of the Mississippi. The program includes six to eight weeks of 100% tuition-free on-ice skills development and off-ice training.

YGG is proud to sponsor the Greg Powers Elite Lady Hockey clinic held at Arizona State University’s Oceanside Ice Arena. YGG is excited to support Greg and his coaching staff to bring together elite girls from multiple clubs and to create a high intensity development experience.
