The Cup is YGG’s annual elite girls hockey tournament. We bring together high caliber girls and coaches to train, to develop, and most importantly, to create life-long experiences during a very challenging time. This invite-only event includes 100% YGG-funded tournament fees. Our first YGG Cup, was held in Las Vegas, July 2020, during Covid rink closures across the country. For many girls, this was a rare chance to continue playing games at an elite level. The second YGG Cup was bigger and better in Austin Tx in May 2021 with very competitive spring teams for 07’-09’ birth years. YGG was joined by Vision 44 who provided three top talent women professional hockey players, to provide mentorship to the attending elite players and they also ran a fun NHL-style skills competition. Prior to the start of the 22/23 fall hockey season, YGG is again powering another college showcase hosted by Premiere Ice Prospects, 702 PIP Showcase, being held in Las Vegas August 4-7, 2022. Styled like the Seattle Western Prospects Camp, girls from the 05’-07’ birth years will be split into teams and have skill sessions and games coached by NCAA coaches. YGG will also have the support of Global Hockey Network/Vision 44 who will provide developmental support including a free 3-month subscription to their training video library, a Q&A session with professional female hockey superstars, and a free one-on-one session with a professional hockey player providing individual comments/advice on the players game.

YGG powers the Western Prospects Camp, supported by the new NHL team, Seattle Kraken, and hosted by Premiere Ice Prospects. The event will take place at the Kraken Community Iceplex June 3rd-5th, 2022. The event is styled as a college showcase for girls split in three divisions, 17U, 14U and 12U and college coaches with be rotated to coach each of the assigned teams through the three day schedule. YGG continues its collaboration with Global Hockey Network/Vision 44 who will provide developmental support including a free 3-month subscription to their training who video library, a Q&A session with professional female hockey superstars, and a free one-on-one session of a professional hockey player with individual comments/advice on the players game.

YGG powers the Shattuck St Mary’s Showdown being hosted by Wade Warriors at the Shattuck campus in Minnesota May 20-22, 2022. An opportunity for elite 08’-09’ female hockey players to compete in an invite only tournament with college coaches assigned to coach each team. Global Hockey Network/Vision 44 was also enlisted to provide developmental support including a free 3 month subscription to their training video library, a Q&A session with professional female hockey superstars, and a free one-on-one session of a professional hockey player with individual comments/advice on the players game.
